We are proud to state that Piper Design is:
Nordic Design Made in Europe

NORDIC DESIGN MADE IN EUROPE
Piper’s collections combine creativity and practicality, as is best suited for children’s clothing. Designer Päivi Sihvonen has had a long career in the garment industry, bringing her expertise to Piper Child Wear products. The entire design process, from detailed product design and material selection to production instructions, is carried out in Finland. This is how Piper Child Wear collections Baby Piper, the Toni collection, and the Comic collection have come to life.

on myönnetty Desing From Finland
logon käyttöoikeus
Design From Finland merkin toimikunta kokoontui 10.4.2025 ja merkin käyttöoikeus myönnettiin Piper lastenvaatteille ja Piperin käsin suunnitelluille ja piirretyille kankaille. Merkki on voimassa toistaiseksi.
The comic collection
The Comic collection features a comic-book style, with illustrations by Päivi herself. The collection originated from the comic albums Päivi published. The clothing designs were so inspiring to the artist that the patterns ended up as part of the collection.
The Comic collections illustrations are hand-drawn by Päivi Sihvonen.
The Baby piper collection
The Baby Piper collection was designed with the Finnish maternity package in mind, offering products that are essential from the moment a baby is born. Baby Piper is a unisex collection, designed and illustrated by Päivi, and includes innerwear for babies.
The Toni collection
The Toni collection’s graphic designer is Toni Svenström, who grew up in the same artistic family with Päivi as cousins. The Toni collection takes children on an adventure into a fantasy world, with inspiration drawn from both nature and video games. The designs are made to spark children’s imaginations, and the collection features innerwear for school-age children.

From Material to Finished Product: Piper’s Supply Chain
Piper’s high-quality standards and values are the cornerstones in all stages of production. The company operates with respect for the environment and social responsibility: the fabrics are certified with 1st class Oeko-Tex® certification, design and commercial operations are carried out in Finland, and production takes place in Europe. Piper’s European partners have all been carefully selected to reflect the standards of the brand’s operations.
The production process with our partners has been thoroughly reviewed, and product quality is regularly monitored at each stage of production. Strict criteria for materials are met during textile testing processes, and Piper has established detailed guidelines for production. Production is also organized economically, with quality control in place. The selected production sites and factories must meet transparent criteria regarding product quality, final outcomes, and adherence to values.
Piper also considers the logistic footprint of its products. All Piper products are made to order and, whenever possible, delivered directly to customers, eliminating unnecessary transportation or storage steps. This ensures that sustainability is an integral part from the very beginning of the supply chain, resulting in high-quality, durable, and practical products with every detail designed for active children.
